As part of our continuing company development strategy Congleton Engineering have recently acquired a new production unit. This unit is adjacent to our existing Sheet Metal fabrication unit on River Dane road in Congleton.
The unit is approximately 300m2 and has been acquired so we can increase the volume of sub contract stainless steel fabrications we currently produce for the Flow Control Equipment sector. This work is ideally suited to our business model as it includes a full range of processes including Cnc Machining, Cnc Turning, Cnc Milling, Cnc Drilling, Press work, Cnc Punching and Stainless Steel Welding.
We hope this initial job will open the flood gates for a myriad of business in the Flow Control Equipment sector and carry us on our way to our ultimate goal of acquiring a large purpose built unit where we can encompass all our processes under one roof. This will help reduce our overheads and in turn allow us to reduce further our sub contract engineering charging rates.
